AP.UN Allied Properties Real Estate Investment Trust

Allied Properties REIT (TSX:AP.UN) announced today that it has closed the
previously announced acquisition of the following property:

The purchase price for the property was $34.5 million. Concurrently with
closing, Allied placed mortgage financing on the property in the principal
amount of $22.4 million for a term of three years, bearing interest at 3.76% per
year and payable as to interest only during the term.
