TINY, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Mar 4, 2014) - Milner Consolidated Silver Mines Ltd. (the "Company" or "Milner") (TSX-VENTURE:MCA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Brenda Bazinet (previously Lamoureux) as Chief Financial Officer of Milner effective immediately.

Ms. Bazinet has been a director of the Company and a member of the audit committee since October 2003. Ms. Bazinet has an accounting background with over 10 years of experience in the mining industry.
