Excellium Inc. Announces Change to its Board of Directors

Excellium Inc. (TSX VENTURE:XLM) (the "Corporation" or "Excellium"), a Tier II
issuer listed on the TSX Venture Exchange (the "Exchange"), announces that
Jean-Claude Siew resigned as director of Excellium, effective immediately. As
Excellium continues to explore strategic alternatives in an effort to maximize
shareholder value, including the potential sale of all or part of the
Corporation, a privatization transaction, or the entering into of strategic
partnerships; Mr. Siew is ensuring that all future decisions of the board are
made with all necessary flexibility, in the best interest of the company. The
resignation was accepted by the Board of Directors and the Board wishes to thank
Mr. Siew for his contribution.


Gilles Pepin, Consultant in Mergers & Acquisitions, will be joining the Board as
an independent director. Additionally, Mrs. Monique Imbeault will act as
Executive Chairman.


Mr. Siew remains as President & CEO of Excellium and continues to lead the
company and remains highly focused on executing Excellium's long-term
operational plan and improving its financial and operational performance and to
bring in new projects and execute the present backlog.
