The app, which is available for download at www.gdfsuezapps.com, provides users with easy access to data that can help them make more informed energy management decisions by instantly delivering a wide range of historical pricing.  By entering a specific territory or zone, buyers can view daily, weekly, and monthly historical pricing trends for both real-time and day-ahead energy for PJM, NYISO, ERCOT, MISO, and ISO-New England.

"Delivering this market information more efficiently allows commercial, industrial, and institutional electricity buyers easy access to the data they need for their purchasing decisions and to better manage usage and costs," said David Coffman, Vice President of Marketing for GDF SUEZ Energy Resources.  "It also reinforces our commitment to providing businesses with the right tools to make the best decisions for their enterprises."

GDF SUEZ Energy Resources began providing historical ISO electricity data on its website last year to help electricity buyers make better educated energy contracting decisions in the future.  On the full website, electricity buyers can also:

  • Access ISO-specific information by utility distribution company, data type (i.e., hourly, monthly), and date range through a user-friendly, filterable dynamic form;
  • Export reports for data pulled or view the information on-screen;
  • Get 15-minute historical data for ERCOT since the grid operator's transition to a nodal market.

The suite of historical data can be found at http://www.gdfsuezpricing.com.
