MTU Aero Engines AG (MTX.XE) said on Wednesday that its Canadian subsidiary has signed two contracts with Lockheed Martin (LMT) for the maintenance and repair of engines, as well as accessory repair.

The contracts cover the maintenance, repair and overhaul of the CF6-50C2 engines as well as accessory repair for the engines, the company said, adding that the combined value of both agreements is about $135 million.

"We are delighted to have signed these agreements with Lockheed Martin and hope this is the start of excellent long-term cooperation," said Michael Schreyoegg, MTU Aero Engines' chief program officer.
