Russian natural gas production totaled 59.27 billion cubic meters in November, up 1.7% from the same period last year, statistics from Russia's energy ministry showed Thursday.

Of the total, state-run gas firm OAO Gazprom (GAZP.RS) produced 46.50 billion cubic meters in the month, down 1.9% from last year.
