THE CLAIMS PEOPLE GROUP PLC ("The Company")


PLACING

The Company has raised #87,500 before expenses by way of a placing of 5,000,000
new ordinary shares of 1.5p at 1.75p each to City Equities Limited.  Application
has been made for the new ordinary shares to be admitted to trading on the
Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange and dealings are
expected to commence on Monday 30 September 2002.


The shares will rank pari passu with existing shares in issue.
