Resignation of Non-Executive
Director and Committee Appointments
Ferrexpo plc (LSE: FXPO) announces
that, due to personal reasons, Non-executive Director Natalie
Polischuk has resigned from the Board of Ferrexpo with immediate
effect. Natalie was Chair of the Health, Safety, Environment and
Communities ("HSEC") Committee, a member of the Audit Committee and
a member of the Committee of Independent Directors.
On an interim basis, Fiona MacAulay,
Senior Independent Non-executive Director has been appointed a
member of the Audit Committee and appointed as a member of and will
Chair the HSEC Committee.
Following Natalie's resignation the
Board continues to have a majority of independent Non-executive
Directors. As previously announced, the Company has an ongoing
process to search for a new independent Non-executive Director and
as part of this search the Company will also take into account
ethnic and gender diversity on the Board.
Commenting on the resignation, Lucio Genovese, Executive Chair
of Ferrexpo said:
