Signing of the Self-Remediation Terms i n relation to historical fire safety issues with the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities ("DLUHC")

MJ Gleeson PLC ('Gleeson" or the "Group"), announces that it has signed the Self-Remediation Terms published by DLUHC on 30 January 2023.

The Group announced on 16 February 2023, in its results for the half-year ended 31 December 2022, that it had established in the prior year an exceptional provision of GBP12.9m and that it was moving quickly in executing a programme of intrusive inspections and fire risk assessments. The Board conducts regular reviews of the provision and no further exceptional provisions are expected.
