    Ted Baker plc announces that yesterday it purchased 500,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 400 pence per share to be held
in treasury. 

    The Company now holds a total of 1,597,575 treasury shares. 

    The total number of shares in issue is 43,198,033 and the total number of shares in issue excluding treasury shares is 41,600,458.
