HERNDON, Va., June 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The U.S. Air Force has selected a team that includes Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) to provide engineering and technical services for the Tinker Advisory Assistance Services Contract (TAASC). The five-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract has an initial value of $25 million to Northrop Grumman. The company is subcontractor to Chickasaw Nation Industries (CNI) Aviation, LLC of Ada, Okla., for the work. Northrop Grumman will perform work in 13 functional support areas, including technical management and logistics, engineering and technical services, aircraft engine sustainment, and planning and analysis. Northrop Grumman has provided weapons systems, commodities, and engine support to numerous Air Force aircraft at the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, including B-1, B-2, B-52, E-3, and KC-135 models.
