Spartech receives Strategic Supplier Award for 2012 from Brentwood Industries Specialty Product Group

St. Louis - Jan. 24, 2013 - Spartech Corporation (NYSE: SEH), a leading producer of plastic sheet, compounds and packaging products, today announced that its customer, Brentwood Industries Specialty Products Group (SPG), awarded Spartech the Strategic Supplier Award for 2012.

Robert Wilson, Spartech Custom Sheet and Rollstock Sales Representative, accepted the award on behalf of Spartech.

Brentwood SPG is a custom plastics thermoformer; the company has been designing, engineering and manufacturing custom thermoformed plastic products of the highest quality for more than 40 years. Brentwood's reputation for precision in manufacturing rests on the mission that advanced quality planning occurs with all customers' products, so materials from carefully selected suppliers are used to complete a product that meets the customer's requirements.

Spartech has been a long-time supplier partner of Brentwood's for 25 years, providing Brentwood with its Extreme(TM) TPO product that is used commonly in the commercial trucking industry, among other products.

Brentwood SPG evaluates and monitors its supplier partners across a range of key performance criteria including On-Time Delivery, Quality, Customer Service and Environmental Stewardship among others. Brentwood conducts quarterly reviews and rates their suppliers against these metrics.
