Atari, Inc. Appoints Philip Veneziano as Chief Financial Officer

NEW YORK, Sept. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Atari, Inc. (OTC Pink
Sheets: ATAR), an interactive entertainment company, announced
today the appointment of Philip Veneziano as its Chief Financial
Officer, effective immediately. The announcement was made by Atari
CEO and President, Jim Wilson to whom Veneziano will report.
Veneziano brings to Atari a breadth of experience directing the
accounting and finance functions in companies ranging from start-up
organizations with fast-track hyper-growth to multi-national
Fortune 50 organizations. In his new role as CFO, he will be
responsible for Atari's finance, accounting, IT and various
administrative functions. "I am pleased to bring Philip to our

and relevant financial information to department heads. Prior to
TheLadders.com, he held numerous financial management roles within
News Corporation, the publicly traded international media and
entertainment company, including Vice President, Finance-Fox
Television Stations, Inc. While at Fox, he was responsible for the
consolidated financial planning and analysis function of the 35
owned and operated television stations, including 9 duopoly
markets. During his tenure with News Corporation he also served as
Controller, Fox Television Stations, Inc., and Assistant Corporate
Controller. Prior to joining News Corporation, Phil held various
financial management roles at Everest Broadband Networks, Juno
Online Services, American Sky Broadcasting and Lifetime Hoan
Corporation. Phil started his career in public accounting at
Richard A. Eisner & Company. Phil holds a BS in Accounting from
the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania and is a
