Baron Energy, Inc. (Pink Sheets:BROE) ("Baron" or the "Company"), an independent oil and gas company, announced today that Phase 1 of its Texas Panhandle oil reactivation program in Hutchinson County, Texas,has been completed and that Phase-2 is underway.

Steinocher, President and CEO, said, "We have already completed Phase 1 of a large, three-phase, oil reactivation program and have now moved directly into Phase-2.   We expect Phase 2 to be completed within 30 days and Phase 3 to follow directly thereafter. Each phase consists of reworking 8-10 oil wells."
