Raiffeisen Bank International AG is extending the mandate of
Chief Executive Johann Strobl for five more years.
The Austrian banking group said Wednesday that its supervisory
board passed a resolution unanimously to let Mr. Strobl stay at the
helm until the end of February 2027.
Mr. Strobl has been CEO of the bank since March 2017.
"With the extension of Johann Strobl's mandate as CEO of RBI, we
are sending a clear signal that we will continue the transformation
process begun under his leadership. We are convinced that this will
enable us to successfully meet future market challenges and best
fulfill the expectations of our clients and investors", Supervisory
Board Chairman Erwin Hameseder said.
