Dassault Systemes SE said Thursday that operating profit and revenue for the third quarter increased.

Reporting on a non-IFRS basis, the French software maker posted operating profit of 290.9 million euros ($345.1 million) compared with EUR276.9 million in the third quarter of 2019, while operating margin fell to 28.2% from 30.3%.

Net profit for the same period rose to EUR210.3 million from EUR202.5 million.

Revenue increased to EUR1.03 billion from EUR914 million, with software revenue climbing to EUR934.9 million from EUR797.5 million and services revenue slipping to EUR95.4 million from EUR116.5 million.

Dassault Systemes had guided for third-quarter revenue of between EUR1.05 billion and EUR1.08 billion, with an operating margin between 26% and 26.5%.

The company expects revenue for the fourth quarter in a range from EUR1.19 billion to EUR1.22 billion, with an operating margin from 34.6% to 35.2%.

Dassault Systemes now projects 2020 revenue between EUR4.44 billion and EUR4.46 billion and an operating margin from 29.8% to 30.0%.

The ranges are lower than what the company outlined in July 2020 when it guided for 2020 revenue between EUR4.51 billion and EUR4.56 billion, with operating margin between 29.3% and 29.4%.
