UPDATED ILLUSTRATIVE INVESTOR REPORT FOLLOWING NEW EQUITY ANNOUNCEMENT ON 09 AUGUST 2021

Following the publication by Southern Water Services (Finance) Limited ("Southern Water") on 30 July 2021 of the Southern Water Services Financing Group Investor Report and Compliance Certificate (the "Investor Report") for the period ended 31 March 2021, it was announced on 9 August 2021 that Macquarie Asset Management had agreed to acquire a majority stake in Southern Water's parent company, Greensands Holdings Limited, and invest GBP1 billion of equity in Southern Water and its parent group.

As a result of the above, Southern Water has decided to provide, on an illustrative basis only for information purposes, an Investor Report prepared on a pro forma basis assuming this investment. Southern Water will publish this updated illustrative Investor Report on 12 August 2021.
