The Norwegian FSA have approved ancillary own funds as Tier 2 capital under Solvency 2 for another 4 years.

The Norwegian FSA (Finanstilsynet) recognises KLPs right to call for equity contribution as ancillary own funds, qualified as Tier 2 capital under Solvency 2, for another 4 years until 31. December 2023.

The Norwegian FSA (Finanstilsynet) assumes the same method to calculate the ancillary own funds as in the current period, and should still be limited to 2.5% of the total premium reserves, at any time.
