   CALGARY, Alberta, July 28, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Repsol Oil & Gas 
Canada Inc. (formerly known as Talisman Energy Inc.), a Canadian-based 
upstream oil and gas company (the "Company"), announced today that, 
pursuant to the terms and conditions of its outstanding GBP250,000,000 
6.625% Notes due 2017 (ISIN XS0145515655) (the "UK Notes"), the Company 
will early redeem all of the outstanding UK Notes on September 14, 2017 
(the "Redemption Date"), together with interest accrued up to and 
including the Redemption Date at the Redemption Price referred to below. 
The Redemption Price will be determined on the Reference Date (September 
12, 2017), in accordance with Condition 6(3) of the terms and conditions 
of the UK Notes, all as such terms are defined in the UK Trust Deed 
dated April 5, 2002.

   The Company intends to apply to the UK Listing Authority to cancel the 
listing of its UK Notes, such cancellation to occur as soon as possible
