                          BLUE STAR MOBILE GROUP PLC:
                                 SHARE PLACING

Blue Star Mobile Group plc ("Blue Star" or "the Company), the AIM listed
provider of entertainment and promotional content via mobile phones, announces
that it has placed 1,260,450 new ordinary shares of 1 penny each in the capital
of the Company (the "Placing Shares") with Euronet Escrow SA ("Euronet").
Euronet has purchased the Placing Shares at 15.55 pence per Placing Share. This
increases Euronet's shareholding to 2,465,269 shares.

Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the Placing Shares to
be admitted to trading and trading is expected to commence on 9 June 2005. The
Placing Shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing ordinary
shares in issue.

Following the allotment of the Placing Shares to Euronet, the fee payable to
Berkeley Consultants Limited and referred to at paragraph 9.7 of Part VI of the
Company's AIM admission document dated 29 March 2005 (the "Admission Document")
is now due.  In addition, Continental Administration Services Limited ("CAS")
may now demand repayment of the outstanding amount drawn down under the loan
facility between CAS and the Company referred to at  paragraph 9.8 of Part VI of
the Admission Document, in accordance with the terms of such loan facility."
