Results of Extraordinary General Meeting

At today's Extraordinary General Meeting of Provalis plc ("Provalis" or "the
Company") the resolutions to approve the Members' Voluntary Liquidation of the
Company were passed and the cancellation of the listing of the shares will be
effective from 8.00 a.m. on Monday 18 September 2006.

Following the passing of the resolutions, the joint liquidators have now been
appointed and, with immediate effect, Peter Woodford, Alan Aikman and Lee
Greenbury have resigned as directors of the Company.
