I hereby inform you that on 27 May 2004 we received notification from Israel 
Discount Bank Limited that Whiterain International Limited, on behalf of Chanrai 
Balram, now have a notifiable interest in 4,608,349 Ordinary Shares in Gresham 
Hotel Group plc, representing 5.79% of that class of share in Gresham Hotel 
Group plc. The above amount represents only purchases made through Israel 
Discount Bank Tel Aviv.
