                    Ingenious Music VCT plc (the "Company")

                            Allotment and Admission

The Board of Ingenious Music VCT plc is pleased to announce that 4,597,022
ordinary shares of 1p each ("Ordinary Shares") have been allotted under the
Offer for Subscription of up to 20,000,000 Ordinary Shares (the "Offer") made
pursuant to the prospectus published by the Company on 14 January 2005
("Prospectus"). Dealings in these Ordinary Shares will commence on 5 April 2005.
Application has already been made to the UK Listing Authority of the Financial
Services Authority and to London Stock Exchange plc for the listing of up to
20,000,000 Ordinary Shares in connection with the Offer.

The Offer will remain open until the earlier of 30 June 2005 and the date on
which the maximum subscription is reached (or such time as the Company and its
sponsor, KBC Peel Hunt Ltd agree). Further allotments may be made before the
subscription list closes, and a final allotment is expected to be made after the
closing of the subscription list.
