JOURDAN plc 

I write to advise you that JOHN DAVID ABELL, a Director of Jourdan plc, has
surrendered on 1 March 2004, the Options to subscribe for 450,000 Ordinary
Shares (1.36% of the issued share capital at 1 March 2004) granted on 23 October
1997, exercisable four years from 22 October 2000 at a price of 49 1/2p per
share.

The exercise of the Options was subject to the satisfaction of certain
conditions which could not be met by expiry of the Grant on 22 October 2004.

Mr Abell's interest in the share capital of Jourdan plc at 3 March 2004 is now:

1. 9,015,000 Ordinary shares 10p each (27.36% of the issued share capital)

2. Options over 250,000 Ordinary shares 10p each (0.76%)
   (exercisable 7 years from 25 September 2006) at 27p per share

 
I write to advise you that ROBERT RIDLEY MORRIS, a Director of Jourdan plc, has
surrendered on 1 March 2004, the Options to subscribe for 450,000 Ordinary
Shares (1.36% of the issued share capital at 1 March 2004) granted on 23 October
1997, exercisable four years from 22 October 2000 at a price of 49 1/2p per
share.


The exercise of the Options was subject to the satisfaction of certain
conditions which could not be met by expiry of the Grant on 22 October 2004.

Mr Morris's interest in the share capital of Jourdan plc at 3 March 2004 is now:

1.   210,000 Ordinary shares 10p each (0.64% of the issued share capital)

2.   Option over 69,767 Ordinary shares 10p each (0.21%)
     (exercisable 7 years from 9 November 2001) at 43p per share

3.   Option over 250,000 Ordinary shares 10p each (0.76%)
     (exercisable 7 years from 25 September 2006) at 27p per share.
