Appointment of Vice President of Operations

OCZ Technology Group, Inc. ("OCZ" or "the Group", AIM: OCZ) a worldwide leader in innovative, ultra-high performance and high
reliability memory, PC components, and system builds, has appointed Vincent Nguyen as Vice President of Operations with immediate effect. He
replaces John Apps, who will now focus on managing the Group's information technology.

Vincent will manage and scale the operations team and facility in Taiwan to meet the rapid business growth of the Group's complete line
of products. Although not a Board appointment, he will develop strategic and tactical operational plans to increase efficiency and quality,
and the swift deployment of new products.

Vincent has more than 20 years' experience in the technology industry, 18 of which have been spent in executive manufacturing and
production roles. He most recently served as the Vice President of Operations and General Manager of Corsair Taiwan, a memory and power
supply manufacturer. At Corsair, he led all Taiwan operation activities including planning, purchasing, manufacturing, inventory management
and logistics. Prior to that he was the Vice President of Operations at Lexar Media, a manufacturer of memory cards and USB drives, and was
responsible for supplier selection, manufacturing and cost reduction activities. During his tenure at Lexar Media, the aggregate value of
shipments per annum increased from $80 million to $960 million. He has also served in various senior management and production supervisory
roles at companies such as Solectron, SanDisk, Xidex and IBM.
