Notice of Pre-close Trading Statement

Taylor Woodrow plc will be releasing its pre-close trading statement on
Wednesday 27 June 2007 prior to its half year period end on 30 June 2007 and
ahead of the expected completion of the Company's proposed merger with George
Wimpey Plc on 3 July 2007. George Wimpey Plc will also be issuing a pre-close
trading statement on 27 June 2007.


In light of the impending merger, a joint conference call for investors and
analysts will be held at 9.00am on 27 June 2007. Details of the conference call
