Abbey Well developed its Natural Mineral Water product to meet the new nutritional guidelines for drinks in UK schools. Ideally suited for school marketing, the product comes in 4 healthy fruit varieties and contains 65 percent fruit juice with no preservatives or other additives. The 250 ml size PET (polyethylene terephthalate) container developed for this purpose had a demanding oxygen barrier requirement due to the premium nature of the product and its shelf life requirements.
