Sound Group Inc. Announces Trading under New Name on Nasdaq

 

Singapore, Jan. 26, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – Sound Group Inc. (“Sound Group” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: SOGP), a global audio-centric social and entertainment company, today announced that its American depositary shares, each representing two hundred (200) Class A ordinary shares, par value US$0.0001 per share (the “ADSs”), will commence trading on Nasdaq under the new name “Sound Group Inc.” at the market opening on January 26, 2024.

 

As previously announced, a special resolution to approve its name change from “LIZHI INC.” to “Sound Group Inc.” was adopted at an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders, held by the Company on January 25, 2024, in Singapore.

 

Trading of the ADSs under the new name on Nasdaq will not affect shareholders’ rights, the Company’s operations, or its financial position. The Company does not intend to change its financial strategy or financial reporting as a result of this announcement.
