Florida's Ciatrick Fason Selected a Cingular Wireless/ABC Sports All-America Player of the Week Finalist ATLANTA, Sept. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Florida junior running back Ciatrick Fason, who rushed for a career-best 210 yards on 31 carries in the Gators' 20- 3 win over Kentucky yesterday, has been selected as a Cingular Wireless/ABC Sports All-America Player of the Week finalist. Fason's rushing total was the fourth best in school history. Fason is one of four candidates for the All-America Player of the Week, who are selected by a panel of ABC Sports and ESPN college football analysts, led by John Saunders. The other finalists are: Clemson kick returner Justin Miller, who returned two kickoffs for scores and amassed an NCAA-record 282 yards on six returns in the Tigers' 41-22 loss at Florida State; Purdue quarterback Kyle Orton, a previous Cingular/ABC Sports All-America Player of the Week award winner, who completed 35 of 50 passes for 366 yards and four touchdowns in the Boilermakers' 38-30 victory at Illinois; and Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn, who connected on 17 of 32 passes for 266 yards and four touchdowns in Notre Dame's 38-3 victory over Washington.
