sources and doesn't purport to be a comprehensive list.
Valero Energy Corp. (VLO) is performing unplanned maintenance on
the vacuum jet compressor in the eastern part of its 115,000
barrel-a-day refinery in Corpus Christi, Texas, according to a
government filing made public June 30.
Chevron Corp. (CVX) reported a compressor trip on June 29 at its
refinery in Pascagoula, Miss., according to a government filing
made public Thursday.
Husky Energy Inc.(HUSKF, HSE.T) shut its 150,000 barrel-a-day
refinery in Lima, Ohio, for up to 10 days to repair a leak in the
crude distillation unit furnace, the company said June 28.
CVR Energy Inc. (CVI) shut down units at its 115,000
barrel-a-day refinery in Coffeyville, Ka., on June 27, according to
a government filing made public June 28.
Sunoco Inc. (SUN) was restarting the reformer and hydrotreater
at its 335,000 barrel-a-day refinery in Philadelphia, Penn., after
starting unplanned maintenance on the units that started on June
19.
ConocoPhillps said on June 27 its 306,000 barrel-a-day Wood
River refinery in Roxana, Ill., would run at reduced rates "for
several days" after a power outage the previous weekend.
Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM) reported a furnace outage on June 24 at
its 240,000 barrel-a-day refinery in Joliet, Ill., accoridng to a
government filing. The Joliet refinery had cut production during
the previous week because of a similar problem, according to a
government filing.
Valero Energy Corp. (VLO) said June 23 that it was performing
maintenance at the western section of its 142,000 barrel-a-day
refinery in Corpus Christi. A company spokesman said the activity
would not impact production.
Chevron Corp. (CVX) said a June 22 upset at its 243,000
barrel-a-day refinery refinery in Richmond, Ca., led to
flaring.
BP PLC (BP) said on June 21 its 475,000 barrel-a-day refinery in
Texas City, Texas, would return to full capacity by August after an
April power outage left it running at half capacity.
ConocoPhillips (COP) reported flaring at its 247,000
barrel-a-day refinery in Sweeney, Texas, on June 21 because of
problems with the coker unit.
ConocoPhillips (COP) reported emissions at its 76,000
barrel-a-day refinery in Rodeo, Ca., after an unspecified unit
startup on June 21.
Valero Energy Corp. (VLO) reported emissions at its 144,000
barrel-a-day refinery in Benicia, Ca., refinery on June 21. The
event did not cause production issues, a company spokesman
said.
Alon USA Energy Inc. (ALJ) reported a power outage on June 20 at
its 67,000 barrel-a-day Big Spring refinery in Texas. The same
refinery on June 20 experienced excess opacity amid maintenance
work being performed as part of the annual turnaround.
ConocoPhillips (COP) reported emissions at its 139,000
barrel-a-day refinery in Wilmington, Ca., on June 20, according to
a filing with state regulators.
Delek US Holdings, Inc. (DK) on June 17 said its refinery in El
Dorado, Arkansas, had resumed normal operating rates on June 15.
The plant had been operating at reduced rates since May 8 due to
flooding along the Mississippi River. Valero Energy Corp.'s (VLO)
oil refinery in Aruba continues to operate at reduced rates after a
power outage in one section of the plant on June 9 knocked some
processing units off line, company spokesman Bill Day said on June
17.
Valero Energy Corp. on June 22 said operations at its Port
Arthur refinery is returning to planned rates after the plant's
coker unit was restarted after a shutdown on June 6 because of a
power failure.
Valero Energy Corp. said June 22 it was bringing its 235,000
barrel-a-day Aruba refinery to planned operating rates after a
reduction because of a June 9 power outage.
