Volkswagen AG's (VOW.XE) order backlog reaches "beyond the first half of the year," Chief Executive Martin Winterkorn said Thursday.

Speaking on the sidelines of an analyst meeting at the German auto maker's headquarters, Winterkorn said forecasts for the second half of the year are difficult to make at the moment.
