Volunteers devote more than 1,000 man-hours to enhance learning environment at Burton International School DETROIT, Aug. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- DaimlerChrysler Financial Services employees will renew their commitment to giving back to the Corktown Historic District. Close to 200 volunteers of the company's finance department will join forces to refurbish Burton International School in Detroit. Partnering with the Greater Corktown Development Corporation, DaimlerChrysler Financial Services' volunteers will paint the school's interior, perform general maintenance and repair, and restore the playground, working from 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. today. Burton International School is a pre-kindergarten to Eighth grade school serving students citywide.
