--Total SA (FP.FR) could reduce its workforce by 250 people in
Aberdeen following the company's acquisition of A.P. Moeller-Maersk
A/S (AMKBY)'s oil unit for $4.95 billion, The Herald reports.
--Total, which has started talks with its employees regarding
its plans to cut staff and contractor posts, said it would try to
minimize redundancies in the process and find alternative posts in
other parts of Total's business, The Herald reports a company
spokeswoman as saying.
