Item 8.01 Other Events.

On September 7, 2023, Palatin Technologies, Inc. issued a press release announcing that enrollment in the PL9643 MELODY-1 Phase 3 study in dry eye disease is complete, with 570 patients enrolled. A copy of this press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
