Change in significant shareholder

The Company notes an announcement was made today by Cambrian Mining Plc
("Cambrian") stating that it ceased to be a significant shareholder in Aztec on
30 October 2006 as a result of the transfer of 170,160,515 Ordinary Shares in
Aztec to Mount Gibson Iron Limited ("Mt Gibson") in exchange for 56,720,171
shares in Mt Gibson, pursuant to Mt Gibson's off-market takeover bid for all the
fully paid ordinary shares in Aztec.

The 170,160,515 Ordinary Shares are the same shares as those referred to in
Cambrian's announcement to ASX dated 21 September 2006 which was previously
announced to AIM.
