Notice of ceasing to be a significant shareholder

Aztec has been informed today that Shanghai Merchants Holdings Limited ("SMHL")
and related entities (disclosed in the notification made on 1 November 2006)
ceased to have a significant shareholding in Aztec on 28 November 2006, as a
result of acceptance by SMHL, of Mount Gibson Iron Limited's takeover offer, in
relation to SMHL's 84,000,000 ordinary shares in Aztec.
