                                 BOARD CHANGES

Bristol & London PLC (the "Company"), the specialist credit hire vehicle
replacement company, today announces the appointment of Mr Lewis Ross, aged 53,
as part-time Finance Director to replace Mr Andrew Daw whose intention to resign
within six months was announced on 28 May 2004. Lewis is an experienced PLC
finance director who has held positions at Aukett Group PLC, The Pelican Group
PLC and Fish PLC.

In addition, Mr David Hobdey, aged 42, has joined the Board as an independent
non-executive director. David is a non-executive director for Cosalt plc and
White Rose Technology Limited.

Both appointments were made with effect from 8 September 2004.

appointment of Mr Lewis Ross under schedule two, paragraph (f) of the AIM Rules:
