          Notice concerning Delisting of Shares of Takefuji Corporation 
                    and the Handling thereof After Delisting 
 
Due to the filing of the petition for the commencement of the corporate 
reorganization proceedings of Takefuji Corporation ("Takefuji") on September 28, 
2010, the shares of Takefuji (the "Shares") were delisted from the Tokyo Stock 
Exchange on October 29, 2010 (and the delisting from the London Stock Exchange 
is scheduled for November 11, 2010).  Please accept our sincere apologies for 
any inconvenience that we may have caused you concerning this matter. 
 
Formally, we have designated Mizuho Trust & Banking Co., Ltd. as the 
administrator of the shareholder registry (the "Administrator"), a company 
responsible for the administration and management of the shareholder records and 
any change of the shareholders' names; however, we have terminated the contract 
with Mizuho Trust & Banking Co., Ltd. because of the delisting.  From now on, we 
plan to directly handle and take responsibility for the administration and 
management thereof.  In addition, the Shares will cease to be managed by the 
Japan Securities Depository Center Inc. and hence, securities companies will not 
handle or manage the Shares. 
 
Moreover, as Takefuji had no paper-based share certificate following the 
electronic share certificate system that was implemented on January 5, 2009, 
Takefuji will continue to abide by such system and will not issue share 
certificates even after the delisting. 
 
We plan to transfer the matter of administering the shareholder registry from 
the Administrator to Takefuji immediately after the shareholder registry upon 
the delisting becomes finalized and determined.  With regard to the specific 
details of the procedure for the change of names in the shareholder registry 
after the delisting, they will be posted on our website as soon as they become 
available.
