     On June 7, 2010 Waste Services, Inc. issued a press release announcing a Special Meeting of it’s shareholders to be held on June 30, 2010, to approve the proposed merger with IESI-BFC Ltd. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.
