/C O R R E C T I O N -- Cingular Wireless/ In the news release,
Cingular Wireless and Fujifilm Make Sending Postcards a Snap,
issued yesterday, Nov. 11, by Cingular Wireless over PR Newswire,
we are advised by the company that the eighth paragraph, first
sentence, should read "The Mobile Postcard application can be
downloaded at no charge on Cingular's Motorola V400 and V600
handsets via the Multimedia Store menu in Cingular's MEdia Net"
rather than "on any Cingular camera phone" as originally issued
inadvertently. Complete, corrected release follows: ATLANTA and
VALHALLA, N.Y., Nov. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Cingular Wireless and Fuji
Photo Film U.S.A., Inc. today introduced a new, first-of-its-kind,
photo postcard application for wireless phones called Mobile
Postcards(TM). Cingular customers can now use their camera phones
to create personalized Fujifilm photo postcards and send them to
anyone in the country via U.S. mail directly from their Cingular
handset. From standard designs such as travel or baby motifs to
special-occasion cards like holidays and birthdays, Cingular
customers have a variety of fun themes from which to choose.
Cingular customers simply select a postcard design and a photo from
their camera phone, add a personal message, address it, and mail
it-quickly, simply and wirelessly. Mobile Postcards can be a modern
twist to the traditional "Wish You Were Here!" postcard or serve as
a state-of-the-art, digital alternative to Valentine's Day or other
holiday greeting cards. "The beauty of the Mobile Postcard
application is that it allows our camera phone customers to share a
personal photo and message with anyone through the mail," said Jim
Ryan, vice president of data product management and business
marketing for Cingular Wireless. "And best of all, it's convenient.
You can purchase and mail a personalized card anytime, directly
from your phone." All that's needed to create a personalized photo
postcard is Cingular Wireless service and a compatible Cingular
camera phone. To download the postcard application directly from
the phone, customers simply login to the Wireless Internet, select
What's Hot from the main menu, and click on Mail a Postcard. After
the initial download, the customer can access the postcard
application anytime under the Games and Apps section of their
phone. This new Fujifilm mobile imaging application was developed
in conjunction with Summus (OTC:SUMU) (BULLETIN BOARD: SUMU) , a
leading provider of mobile media applications that optimize the
consumer wireless experience. "Fujifilm is a respected name in the
world of photography, one that consumers associate with
photographic excellence and innovative ideas," remarked John
Prendergast, Vice President, Strategic Business Development,
Imaging Group, Fuji Photo Film U.S.A., Inc. "Photographs are meant
to be shared -- it is one of the most pleasurable experiences one
can have with their pictures. This is why we are so pleased to work
with Summus to offer Cingular Wireless customers Fujifilm photo
postcards, one of the most innovative picture-share applications
for camera phones." "The launch of the Mobile Postcard application
is a perfect example of how the trend toward convergence of the
camera and mobile phone can both drive revenue and provide
consumers with a new value-added service," said Gary Ban CEO of
Summus. "Our shared vision to bring the most powerful and
innovative branded applications to the consumer wireless market
reinforces our relationship with both Fujifilm and Cingular
Wireless. We look forward to continued success." The Mobile
Postcard application can be downloaded at no charge on Cingular's
Motorola V400 and V600 handsets via the Multimedia Store menu in
Cingular's MEdia Net. The cost for creating and mailing the
postcard is $1.99 each, postage included. The charge will be billed
directly to customers' monthly Cingular phone bill. For more
