MONTREAL, May 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ - SNC-Lavalin (TSX:
SNC) has won a mandate of more than $22
million from PSEG Power Connecticut LLC, for its Bridgeport
Harbor Unit 5 project in the state of Connecticut, in the
United States. The 485-MW combined-cycle gas plant will
replace an existing coal facility.
SNC-Lavalin's scope includes engineering and procurement
support. SNC-Lavalin is also providing some key personnel to
augment PSEG's on-site construction management team. This contract
comes as an addition to the company's EPC work on another PSEG
project: the 755-megawatt combined-cycle natural gas-fired Keys
Energy Center project located in Maryland.

SNC-Lavalin will provide engineering services on-site and from
its Seattle office, which
specializes in natural gas plant engineering.
Bridgeport Harbour Unit 5 is targeted to be completed and
supplying needed energy to the Connecticut region as of June 2019. It will be equipped with
state-of-the-art emissions control technology and meet all
applicable federal and state emissions regulations.
