Gas Natural SDG SA (GAS.MC) said Friday that its renewables subsidiary will invest 165 million euros ($203.6 million) to build Spanish photovoltaic plants with a capacity of 250 megawatts.

The company said it nominated nine plants for the 250 megawatts it had been awarded by a state auction from the Spanish government last July. The nominated plants are located in the Castilla-La Mancha and Extremadura regions, it said.
