Norwegian defence contractor Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (KOG.OS) said Wednesday it has received a simulator contract from the Australian navy, as subcontractor to Raytheon Australia Pty Ltd. (RTN).

 
   MAIN FACTS: 

-The contract is based on Kongsberg's PROTEUS Maritime Tactical Trainer and is part of Australia`s new Hobart class Air Warfare Destroyers.

-At 0746 GMT, shares in Kongsberg Gruppen were up 1.8% at NOK98 against a 1.2% rise in the wider Oslo market.
