London Stocks Seen Opening Marginally Higher

0747 GMT - The FTSE 100 index is expected to open around 4 points higher, according to IG, helped by gains in Asian stocks and in U.S. stocks the previous day following better-than-expected U.S. GDP data. However, traders are likely to remain cautious ahead of U.S. PCE inflation data later and ahead of decisions next week by the Bank of England, European Central Bank and the Federal Reserve. "Today sees a quieter session all round, with only the U.S. PCE price index and pending home sales, plus earnings from American Express and Chevron, on the calendar," IG analysts say in a note.
