Purchase of unsecured Bonds for cancellation

CSC has purchased from Liberty International PLC for cancellation, �167,835,000
nominal of 6.875% unsecured Bonds due 2013, and �84,745,000 nominal of 5.75%
unsecured Bonds due 2009. The Bonds purchased were initially acquired by
Liberty International by market purchases between 2001 and 2004.

The balance not held by the Liberty International group in respect of both
issues remains at �26,821,000, representing 13.41% of the �200,000,000 6.875%
unsecured Bonds originally issued, and �41,744,000, representing 27.83% of the
�150,000,000 5.75% unsecured Bonds originally issued.
