Dana Petroleum plc ("Dana" or the "Company") 
Directors' Interests 
 
On 28 September 2010, Mr. T.P. Cross, Chief Executive, and Mr. D.A. MacFarlane, 
Finance Director notified the Company of the exercise, on that date, of options 
over Ordinary Shares of 15p each in the Company ("Shares") at an exercise price 
of 413.50p per Share pursuant to the Dana Petroleum 1999 Share Option Scheme. 
 
Mr. Cross was allotted 232,852 Shares increasing his shareholding in the Company 
to 2,891,729 Shares, being 3.06% of the issued share capital. 
 
Mr. MacFarlane was allotted 100,267 Shares increasing his shareholding in the 
Company to 447,027 Shares, being 0.47% of the issued share capital.
