    Entertainment Rights Announces Appointment of New Chief Financial Officer

    The Board of Entertainment Rights (LSE: ERT), the UK's leading global media group specialising in the ownership, acquisition,
exploitation and distribution of children's and family programming, characters and brands, is delighted to announce that Edward Knighton FCA
has agreed to join the Board as Chief Financial Officer with immediate effect.

    Edward Knighton left Boosey & Hawkes Music Publishers (B&H), in September 2008 after nearly three years as Finance Director, during
which he played a leading role in refinancing its bank debt, in reducing costs and in its subsequent sale in April 2008 to Dutch-backed
music publishing fund Imagem Music. Prior to B&H Edward was Group Finance Director of the quoted book retailer Ottakar's plc from 2000 to
2004, and of the AIM listed publisher, Helicon, from 1996 to 2000. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

    Chief Executive of Entertainment Rights, Nick Phillips, commented:

    Ottakar's plc (ceased 2004)

    There are no matters relating to Mr. Knighton that would require disclosure under Listing Rules 9.6.13 (2) to (6). Mr. Knighton does not
currently have any beneficial interests in Entertainment Rights shares.
