interim results for the six months ended  30 September
1997 on Monday, 26 January 1998.

The principal activities of IG are the design and
manufacture of gift wrapping paper, greeting cards,
crackers and other decorative accessories. IG is a major
player in its sector and is the UK's leading supplier of
private label greetings products to major multiples.
