Martin Currie Asia Unconstrained Trust plc (the "Company")

Result of General Meeting

The Company announces that at the General Meeting held today both resolutions were passed.

A further General Meeting will be held on 27 September 2019 at which a special resolution will be put forward, inter alia, for the Company to be wound up voluntarily and that the joint liquidators be appointed for the purposes of such winding up and distribution of the assets in accordance with the Scheme.

All terms capitalised but not defined herein shall have the meaning given to them in the Company's circular to Shareholders dated 23 August 2019.
