New memory modules demonstrate speed and heat-management innovation


Sunnyvale, CA-April 16, 2008- OCZ Technology Group, a world leader in
innovative, ultra-high performance and high reliability memory, has released its
"Flex II memory series", which operates at the highest speeds currently
available to the consumer.

To limit the heat generated by ultra-fast speeds, OCZ has developed an
innovative solution: the Flex II combines a new heatspreader design with an
integrated liquid injection cooling system. Ordinarily, the heat created by
sophisticated computers and electronic games can inhibit performance and damage
the core memory modules.

The modules are expected to generate demand primarily from those using computers
to design or edit graphics and videos, as well as high-performance gamers. The
new product, which will be sold at a premium, will also be manufactured at OCZ's
new low-cost manufacturing base in Taiwan.


Alex Mei, Chief Marketing Officer, commented:

"Extreme memory speeds generate substantially more heat which can significantly
sap performance. The new Flex II modules are among the most powerful memory
solutions in the marketplace yet are able to remain cool and stable with an
innovative new cooling design.  The solution is suited for either liquid or air
cooling system configurations to unleash the full power of 4GB of DDR2 at the
highest possible frequency.

"Whilst the release of Flex II is not expected to be material to the outcome of
the Group this year, it is indicative of our strategy to remain at the forefront
of developing specialist solutions and positioning the business as a provider of
innovative performance PC components."

The PC2-9200 Flex II modules will be available in high-capacity 4GB (2x2048MB)
dual channel kits for the latest gaming, 64-bit operating systems, and CAD
applications.
